During the investigation process, we collect only technical logs and metadata required for cyber forensic analysis. This may include:

    •    Background service behavior
    •    Sensor triggers (e.g. microphone or camera activity logs)
    •    Device model and operating system version

We do not collect or access your personal data, private content, or any information unrelated to the investigation.

The data collected is used solely for the purpose of:

Only certified cyber investigators at Traceum — bound by strict confidentiality agreements — have access to your technical logs for analysis purposes. No third party has access to this data at any stage.

Once the investigation is complete, all identifiable technical data is deleted from our servers within 7 days, unless otherwise requested by the user.

We use industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your data during transmission and storage. All data is hosted on secure servers in compliance with GDPR and other international privacy standards.

    •    You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting our support team.
    •    We do not retain unnecessary data.
    •    You may review a summary of what was analyzed in your final investigation report.



 7.⁠ ⁠Third-Party Tools

In some cases, Traceum may integrate open-source or trusted third-party diagnostic tools for log collection. These tools are selected with strict scrutiny and do not transmit data externally.



 8.⁠ ⁠Children’s Privacy

Traceum’s services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
